About Life Coaching with The Adventure Matrix

What Coaching Can Do For You

Adventure is about daring to take risks to do or be something that you’re longing for, that excites you.  It’s about stepping outside of your comfort zone to pursue the thing that’s calling your name.  Maybe it’s a really different kind of work, or relationship, or lifestyle.  It can be difficult to live adventurously, to step outside of your comfort zone, to take risks, to not know exactly where you’re going or how to get there.

Life coaching gives you the support and tools you need to live adventurously.  As your coach, I help you translate your longings into practical reality.

I specifically coach people whose vision for their life doesn’t fit in the dominant cultural paradigm, and they want to design their own.  It takes a lot of strength and skills to design and live by your own unique paradigm.  Our culture doesn’t support doing this, and it can be very challenging to do it alone.  Getting support from a coach in this process makes it easier, expands your adventure, and deepens your life experience.

How Life Coaching With Me Works

Our work together is a dynamic, on-going process that responds to your specific needs – what’s happenning in your life, what you want, when you want to get there, what your specific obstacles are.  I don’t have a formula or system that I put on people – your coaching is uniquely tailored to you, moment by moment.

At the start of our work together, we talk about your adventure and your vision for your life.  We discuss where you are now and where you want to be.  We explore what holds you back from living adventurously.  We design what the process of living your adventure looks like.

During the course of our work together, we talk on the phone two to three times per month for an hour.  On each call, we discuss what happenned for you since the last conversation,  where you are now, how to move through anything that is holding you back, what is shifting, and what actions come next.  We illuminate what works for you and what doesn’t.  I share tools with you that help you build the skills you need to live adventurously.  We discuss all aspects of your experience – mental, emotional, spiritual, physical – and  work together to align them with your vision for your life.

In between our sessions, you take the actions that we design together to keep you moving on your adventure.  You find out what works, what doesn’t work, what you want, what you don’t want.  As much happens for you between our conversations as during them.  Coaching is much more than talking – it is putting feet on your vision, taking action—actually living your adventure and seeing what happens.

Sometimes between sessions you might have something you want to celebrate, or a question or a block you’d like help with.  For these times, I spot coach you by e-mail or phone on an as-available basis.

What You Can Expect to Get Out of Coaching

4. A stronger relationship with yourself and others
5. A life that you custom design for you
6. More love, joy, and peace
7. A deeper, richer, more fulfilling life in the present moment

The Next Step

If you’re interested in my coaching to support you on your adventure, the next step is to call or e-mail me to set up your first two free sessions.  I offer them free of charge to give us a chance to get to know each other and to determine if we’re a good fit without any obligation.

As many of you know, I played my first improvisational piano/voice concert on July 25, 2009 - Following the Flow.  I had some requests from people who couldn't make it to the concert to see some video from the concert.    So...here it is!  I hope you enjoy it, and check back on my website or Facebook profile for more videos soon.
